Server showing offline

Since 1.8.1 the server has been showing as offline if you have it saved in your server list, no idea what is causing this, but just try it, it is online!

Minecraft 1.8

Toolbum Town has updated to the basic version of 1.8 server for the time-being. What this means is that NONE of the plug-ins like the Shop, Warps, Homes etc will work. This also means that moderators can't exist (sorry guys).

While we're waiting for Bukkit (runs the plugins) to update the server will be in griefing mode. So have fun destroying! Don't worry your stuff will be restored to how it was pre 1.8 and pre greifing!

Minecraft 1.5 Update

Bukkit have released a testing version for now. As a result I have switch to a temporary 1.5 server with this Bukkit. It's a different world but don't worry, the old world will be restored once a few things are ironed out

Minecraft 1.5

Attention, Minecraft 1.5 came out today but the server won't update until there is a compatible Bukkit out. In order to still use the server you will have to keep your client on 1.4 or attempt to revert it somehow?

Downtime

More downtime in Toolbum Town, probably won't be back till tomorrow. On  a positive note, in light of all the recent downtime from our hosts we will soon be migrating, details are to follow, please keep eyes peeled.

Also an update to minecraft is due soon. As this means that we have to wait around for devs to update important plugin. I may decide not to update the server until the essential plugins are updated. I will keep you posted but as a precaution don't update your Minecraft client if you want to continue playing on it.

Pig Incinerator

OK, I went a bit mad and built a pig incinerator, come and try it!

In other news, the minecarts are back to normal and I've stuck with the orginal plugin :)

CB670

Upgraded the server to craftbukkit 670 as there was reportedly a norty exploit in CB617. As far as I can tell the plugins still work fine, let me know if there are any problems though.


In other news I am testing a different minecart plugin at the moment so the station is closed until I decide which plugin is better.

Buggerage Serverage

It seems that "Nitrous Networks" were updating/upgrading their systems tonight. Thus being the cause for disruption. Sorry for inconvenience, normality should resume soonish I would hope.

1.4 Update Wooo!

OK so, a lot of things are fixed now and a (fairly) normal service is resumed. What is fixed so far:

• Minecarts - OK
• Warps - GOOD
• Teleport commands - GOOD
• iConomy - GOOD
• Shop - GOOD
• Regions - GOOD

What is not tested:

• spleef
• nether
• erm....probably something else

1.4 Update Woes

As you may have noticed, Minecraft has recently updated to 1.4. This has caused many problems with the server and may take a while for some plugins to be fixed. So far I have updated:

• Essentials (shop/some commands, seems to conflicting with things)
• iConomy (still seems a bit broken)
• WorldGuard (regions, still a bit broken needs updating)
• WorldEdit 4.2 Tempfix (Editing for admins)
